Sweet Carrots

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs carrots
  • 2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 2 TBSP brown sugar
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp minced chives

Directions

  1. Place peeled and diced carrots in a steamer basket.
  2. Boil water in a medium pot, then steam carrots for 23 mins.
  3. Place carrots in skillet and cook on medium heat.
  4. Toss in butter, salt, sugar, and lemon juice till coated.
  5. Dump carrots in a bowl and top with chives.
