Ingredients
- 1 bunch napa cabbage
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 small piece ginger root
- 2oz canned water chestnuts
- 0.5 lbs pork
- 36 wonton wrappers
- 1 TBSP cornstarch
- 1 TBSP light soy sauce
- 1 TBSP rice wine
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp chinese five-spice powder
- pinch of sugar
Directions
- Take two leaves of the cabbage, wash and then cut into tiny shreds.
- Dice green onions, ginger, chestnuts, and pork into super tiny bits.
- In a medium bowl mix all ingredients minus wrappers well.
- Place heaping teaspoons of mixture into each wrapper, wet edges of wrapper with water and crumple upward into wonton shape.
- In batches line the bottom of a steamer basket with two cabbage leaves and steam wontons for 13.5 mins.
