Rice 2

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup long-grain rice (rinsed)
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp salt

Directions

  1. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in rice and cook for 2 mins.
  3. Add salt and 1 ¼ cups of water then bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to as low as possible, cover for 20 mins.
  5. Remove from heat, remove lid, and put a dish towel over the pan.
  6. Let sit for 10 mins and then fluff with a fork.
