Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 2 1” thick 8oz bone-in pork chops
  • 1 TBSP thyme (minced)
  • 1 TBSP vegetable oil
  • 1 TBSP butter
  • salt
  • black pepper

Directions

  1. Pat chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a cast-iron pan over high heat.
  3. Cook chops flipping every minute for about 5 mins.
  4. Add butter and thyme and cook until chops reach 135°.
  5. Allow to rest for 5 mins.
