Ingredients
Dough
- 2 TBSP honey
- 2 TBSP active dry yeast
- 12oz bottle of wheat beer
- 6 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 tsp of salt
- cornmeal
Toppings
- 2 balls of fresh mozzarella
- 2 oz of sun dried tomatoes
- ¾ cup of tomato sauce
- ¾ cup of tomato paste
- 4 tsp pizza seasoning
- Pizza toppings of your choice
Directions
- In a small bowl mix yeast with honey and beer.
- In a medium bowl put salt, and half of the flour.
- When yest bowl is foamy add to flour bowl, knead and add flour or water until a good consistency is reached.
- Place dough in a greased medium bowl and put in fridge for 6 hours.
- When ready to cook put mozzarella in the freezer for 15 mins then grate.
- Wrap grated cheese in towels and let rest for 15 mins.
- Process tomato sauce, tomato paste, pizza seasoning and sun dried tomatoes.
- Spread half of dough into a disc pull up crust ridges place on a pizza tray covered in cornmeal.
- Spread on tomato sauce, place on toppings and then the mozzarella.
- Cook for 16 minutes at 425° in oven.
