Pizza

2 day process.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 TBSP honey
  • 2 TBSP active dry yeast
  • 12oz bottle of wheat beer
  • 6 cups of all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • cornmeal

Toppings

  • 2 balls of fresh mozzarella
  • 2 oz of sun dried tomatoes
  • ¾ cup of tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup of tomato paste
  • 4 tsp pizza seasoning
  • Pizza toppings of your choice

Directions

  1. In a small bowl mix yeast with honey and beer.
  2. In a medium bowl put salt, and half of the flour.
  3. When yest bowl is foamy add to flour bowl, knead and add flour or water until a good consistency is reached.
  4. Place dough in a greased medium bowl and put in fridge for 6 hours.
  5. When ready to cook put mozzarella in the freezer for 15 mins then grate.
  6. Wrap grated cheese in towels and let rest for 15 mins.
  7. Process tomato sauce, tomato paste, pizza seasoning and sun dried tomatoes.
  8. Spread half of dough into a disc pull up crust ridges place on a pizza tray covered in cornmeal.
  9. Spread on tomato sauce, place on toppings and then the mozzarella.
  10. Cook for 16 minutes at 425° in oven.
