Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups of flour
- 6 TBSP butter
- 2 TBSP Lard
- ⅛ cups frozen apple juice concentrate
- ½ tsp salt
Directions
- Cut the butter and lard into small pieces and stash them in the freezer.
- Mix flour and salt in food processor pulse four times.
- Add butter and pulse about 15 times, until uniformly lumpy.
- Add lard and pulse another 8 times.
- Combine ⅛ water with concentrate.
- With half of the apple juice spritz the flour, Pulse 3 times.
- Then wait about 30 secs and spritz and pulse 3 times again.
- Drop dough in a ziploc bag, mold into a disc and refrigerator for 30 mins.
