Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup beer
- 2½ cups bread flour
- 1 package dry active yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
Sauce
- 24oz marinara sauce
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Toppings
- 8oz pepperoni
- 8oz monterey jack
- 4oz mozzarella
Directions
- Add the beer, yeast and sugar in a mixer bowl and rest for 10 mins.
- Add the rest of the doug ingredients and mix with a dough hook until dough like.
- Grease a 9x13″ pan with olive oil and with oily fingers stretch the dough roughly towards the edges.
- Let dough sit for 1 hour and 15 mins.
- Simmer all sauce ingredients for 15 mins on medium low.
- Slice the pepperoni.
- Cut cheese into small cubes.
- Push dough up the walls of the pan about a ½″.
- Add most of the ingredients on dough then place cheese on top.
- Spread sauce over the cheese and some left over ingredients on top of the sauce.
- Heat at 500° for 15 mins.
- Cool for 5 mins and cut on a cutting board.
