Fig Sauce

Great on pork chops

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried figs
  • 4 cups shiraz red wine
  • 4 TBSP red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar

Directions

  1. Cut figs in half long way.
  2. Whisk wine, sugar and 2 TBSP of vinegar in a bowl.
  3. Cook mixture with figs in medium high skillet for 10 mins.
  4. Add rest of vinegar and cool for 3 mins.
