Bacon Wrapped Dates

Ingredients

  • 12 strips bacon (cut in half)
  • 24 Medjool dates (pitted)
  • ⅓ cup porter beer
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2oz goat cheese

Directions

  1. Boil porter and syrup for 8 mins until thickened.
  2. Fill the center of each date with goat cheese.
  3. Wrap each date in bacon.
  4. Brush the top side of the dates with half the syrup.
  5. Bake at 400° for 8 mins.
  6. Flip the dates over and brush the rest of the syrup over the dates.
  7. Bake again for 8 mins.
